AchievableLab Tech Space Opens for Youth in Kryvyi Rih

A new technology space, AchievableLab, has opened at the Inhulets Palace of Culture in Kryvyi Rih, providing children and adolescents with opportunities to develop digital skills, explore creativity and engage with modern technologies.

The space marks a step forward in strengthening the role of the Inhulets Palace of Culture as a key community hub. Designed with accessibility in mind, the facility allows several groups to work simultaneously in a comfortable and inclusive environment.

AchievableLab was created within the framework of the project KRYTSIA: Support for the recovery of Kryvyi Rih Raion, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev — the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, in partnership with Proman and BDF.

The space is equipped with modern tools for learning and creativity, including laptops, tablets, audio production equipment and 3D technologies, enabling participants to work across different formats and build practical skills.

As noted by the team lead of KRYTSIA project Gennadiy Rusanov, investing in such spaces contributes to human capital development and supports children and youth, including those affected by the war.

AchievableLab provides:

  • free access to modern technologies for children, adolescents and internally displaced families;
  • development of digital skills, from graphic design and video editing to 3D modelling and programming;
  • strengthening of soft skills such as teamwork and critical thinking;
  • new opportunities for creative expression and early career orientation.

The learning approach is practice-based and includes educational programmes in graphic design, video production, 3D modelling and programming.

As highlighted by the Head of the Inhulets Palace of Culture Oleksii Havrilevych, combining cultural practices with digital tools helps attract new audiences and creates a safe and motivating environment for young people.

In its first year of operation, the space is expected to:

  • deliver over 180 training sessions and workshops;
  • engage up to 300 participants;
  • support the development of 50+ youth projects;
  • serve as a platform for joint educational and cultural activities.

AchievableLab expands opportunities for young people and contributes to building a modern, inclusive and safe learning environment in Kryvyi Rih.
