Child-Friendly Spaces “VSE.SVIT” launch in Kryvyi Rih in a mobile format

The first 'VSE.SVIT' Child-Friendly Spaces have opened in Kryvyi Rih—providing safe environments for the emotional recovery, development, and psychosocial support of children and their families. The project is already operating in a mobile format and will soon expand to 15 locations across the city and surrounding communities.

Child-Friendly Spaces “VSE.SVIT” have started operating in Kryvyi Rih in a mobile format. These are safe and supportive environments where every child can restore emotional balance, interact with peers and adults in a friendly atmosphere, and simply be themselves. The main goal of these spaces is to support the mental health of children and their families.

The “VSE.SVIT” spaces are established and operate within the framework of the project KRYTSIA: Support for Recovery of Kryvyi Rih Raion, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, in partnership with Proman and BDF. In Kryvyi Rih Raion, the spaces are created in cooperation with the Ukrainian Child Rights Foundation.

Creating Child-Friendly Spaces is an internationally recognized approach to establishing safe environments where children can recover, develop, and receive psychosocial support. These spaces operate based on the principles of safety, inclusion, and respect for children’s rights. We named them ‘VSE.SVIT’ to reflect the core values we embed in them — resilience, recovery, initiative, and care — while also conveying the idea of a place that offers everything a child needs: safety, trust, development, and professional support,” said Gennadiy Rusanov, Team Lead of the project KRYTSIA: Support for Recovery of Kryvyi Rih Raion.

In 2026, a total of 15 Child-Friendly Spaces “VSE.SVIT” will be established and launched across the city and the raion within the project. While renovation works are ongoing, the spaces have already started operating in a mobile format. Teams of specialists are conducting activities at educational and cultural institutions, including Kryvyi Rih gymnasiums No. 122, 98, 124, and lyceum No. 77, as well as at the “Tvorchyi” Palace of Culture (Terny) and in the Sofiivka community at the Sofiivka Center for Creativity.

The spaces provide access to the following specialists:

  • child psychologists
  • psychologists for adults
  • case managers (social workers)

Activities in the “VSE.SVIT” spaces include individual consultations, group sessions, creative workshops, and resource meetings for parents and caregivers.

New locations will soon join the “VSE.SVIT” community.

Detailed information about schedules, specialists, and updates will be shared in the Telegram community. Stay tuned not to miss the opening of new spaces and the official launch of offline “VSE.SVIT” locations in your area.
