This year, the campaign was submitted to two of Ukraine’s leading creative industry festivals — THE VERY BEST OF and ADC*UA Awards. Both competitions are part of the Ukrainian Creative Awards, and all entries are evaluated by independent professional juries. “Watch Me Go!” was shortlisted in several categories at both festivals and received a Gold Award at THE VERY BEST OF — the highest distinction in its category.
This recognition is not only a testament to the teams’ professional work, but also proof that socially important initiatives can compete at the highest creative level and bring attention to issues that matter to thousands of families.
The “Watch Me Go!” campaign was created to help parents and educators better monitor early childhood development. Its goal is to provide simple and accessible tools for tracking a child’s development, enabling families to identify potential challenges early, reduce anxiety, and seek professional support when needed.
The relevance of this issue is reflected in national statistics. According to Ukraine’s Ministry of Education and Science, the number of children with special educational needs has more than doubled over the past five years. At the same time, many families learn about developmental delays too late: one in five only after a child reaches the age of four, and one-third only when the child starts school. Yet the first three years of life are critical for recognizing developmental signals and providing timely support.
To address this challenge, a team of pediatricians, psychologists, and experts in early childhood development and inclusion created a set of practical resources available on childguide.com.ua. At the heart of the campaign is the “Watch Me Go!” guide — a simple tool that helps parents track their child’s development from birth to the age of three. It includes age-based developmental checklists, warning signs to watch for, and practical tips to support a child’s growth. The guide is available for free download in PDF format, and families of newborns in Kryvyi Rih receive printed copies.
The guide is complemented by an interactive Telegram bot that adapts to the child’s age, provides development activities, shares voice messages from an expert, and offers encouragement to parents in their daily caregiving journey. The campaign also includes methodological materials for preschool and primary school educators to support continuous observation of children’s development between the ages of two and seven. In addition, pediatricians and family doctors participate in training sessions that introduce the campaign’s tools and provide guidance on communicating with families about potential developmental delays.
The campaign’s creative concept and visual identity were developed by ISD Group. By combining expert knowledge with a strong creative approach, the campaign succeeded in bringing attention to an important social issue and earning recognition from the professional creative community.
The campaign is implemented within the framework of the project KRYTSIA: Support for the Recovery of Kryvyi Rih Raion, funded by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and implemented by LuxDev, the Luxembourg Development Cooperation Agency, in partnership with Proman and NDI.
